Polyacrylamide chemistries are a vital component to unlocking the hydrocarbons that are trapped in unconventional reservoirs all around the world. On average, friction reducers account for approximately 55% of the total chemical spend on a stimulation job. The conventional delivery method for polyacrylamides has been liquid emulsions or liquid slurries that contain only 20 – 40% active polymer content. This has proven to be highly inefficient from a logistics standpoint and contributes to higher costs.

In January 2019, DCS introduced its first DriFlow™ dry polymer unit to the market. Utilizing proprietary polymer dispersion technology and in-house system development, our DriFlow™ units have set the bar.
